Chief Apostle Dr. Sandra Mitchell

Chief Apostle Dr. Sandra Mitchell is the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Daystar Ministries of Ft. Lauderdale, Inc., doing business as Daystar Connect, where she serves as an ordained apostle, prophetess, and senior pastor. For more than twenty-six years she has worked as a Strategic Planning Director focused on development and growth, counseling, conflict resolution, and the writing of policy and procedure. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Freedom Global Restoration Convention, which heads a governing ordaining body for the body of Christ.

As Project Manager for the Daystar Steelband, an evangelistic outreach, she has ministered through music, preaching, and prophecy across the United States and in Panama, Haiti, Antigua, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Her international work centers on the Haiti Mission, where she provides apostolic covering to a growing number of churches and pastors, and to an orphanage. Nationally, she gives covering to Daystar Ministries, Daystar Connect, and AIM International Ministries, and has served as an adjunct professor at Sharon Bible Institute and the Daystar School of Biblical Studies, preparing many for ministries of their own.

She holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Lincoln College of Technology, a Bachelor of Ministry, magna cum laude, a Master of Theology from International Seminary, and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Community Bible Institute and Seminary Brevard. She is the author of The Armored Mind: Breaking Strongholds over the Mind, and co-author of To Have and to Hold: A Guide to a More Wholesome Marriage. With a special anointing for women, she founded Women of Wisdom, led the Ft. Lauderdale branch of Women With A Call International for fourteen years, and founded Adopt A Family, Adopt A Child, and Mothers on Morals.

She carries a strong prophetic anointing and often ministers through movement and dance, a language she believes transcends barriers. She was the wife of the late Apostle Dr. Ernest Mitchell, founder of Daystar Ministries of Ft. Lauderdale, Inc., and together they are the parents of ten children. A worshipper with a global mandate, she remains a mother to many.
